Have you ever photographed this breed before?
A. If I have not, please take a second to provide me with some information about them and what we are looking for in the shot. Photos of the breed for reference and what about them that you like will be a great help in getting the right shot the first time.
What do I need to bring for the session?
A. We recommend a well groomed, happy dog. Bring their favorite foods and toys! Props if you want are welcomed too. We highly encourage you to bring a second or third person along to help with these items, help hold the dog(s), and provide distractions if needed. You can never have too many helping hands!
How long do these sessions typically take?
A. For the Reference Sessions, anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes depending on the individual dog. Other sessions can take up to 20-60 minutes, but we try to be fast. These quotes do not depend on travel or setup time, just the time we may be working with the dogs. Please do keep in mind the best images are done while they are having fun. I will end sessions early if they show signs of stress or disinterest.
When will my pictures be ready by?
A. Physically taking the photographs is the quickest and easiest part for me. Since I do not do this full time, and work Monday through Friday at a 9-5 job, I often only have weeknights and weekends to work on them unless otherwise engaged. So this answer will vary, as some sessions make almost be ready to go straight off the camera while others may require so much work that hours could be spent on each individual shot. I will keep you informed as best I can. If you need them by a certain date I needed to know a head of time to prepare properly.
How long will my online gallery be up?
A. Due to webpage storage constraints, I cannot guarantee clients galleries being available after 90 days of date of upload. They maybe removed after that at any time, and a fee to re-upload maybe charged. If concerned, Invoices are kept, and photographs are never deleted from my personal storage. I do not charge for that.
Do you offer prints and framing?
A. I do, and I will also custom frame them. I have them printed locally so I can assure quality, then ship if needed from there. This is a work in process so I do not have packaged quotes made up yet.
